Hotel Rila is situated in the center of Budapest, in a peaceful green area, just 3 stops by metro (M3 – blue line) from the heart of the city, close to the highway to the airport. The hotel's convenient location attracts hotel and hostel guests, individual travelers, as well as business visitors. The hotel offers single, double, triple and four-bedded rooms up to 5 adults in a room. Hotel Rila Budapest has a free parking for guests and free luggage storage. The 2* standard rooms are clean and spotlessly, have telephone in all rooms. Every room is en-suite (shower & toilet) and there is a table and chair for guest use in the room.

A great little budget hotel! Having seen earlier reviews we were a bit worried about the Rila, but it was great. We had two single rooms for myself and a friend. Very basic - no TV, but freshly decorated and clean with a modern bathroom and large shower. Efficient heating which we needed - it was freezing outside. The reception spoke good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was OK - bread, cereals, scrambled eggs and average coffee. Rila was in a quiet street and less than 5 minutes walk from the Blue Metro line station and just a few stops to the centre of Budapest. It cost about Ł25 per night and was a third of the price of any hotel in the centre. If you just want somewhere to sleep without all the trimmings of a luxury accommodation then I can thoroughly recommend the Rila for a few days in the lovely city of Budapest.

It was really a nice choice for a budget hotel, we don't have anything bad to say about Hotel Rila. For a budget traveler, it's fine. The location is ok, and it's pretty quiet. The private bath is nice. I'd stay there again.

We stayed at the Hotel Rila last summer in a family room. The price was ok, inclusive of a basic breakfast. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves nice food. We stayed in a family room, basic furniture but it was clean and quite big. The staff was friendly and showed us the best way to get to the city. As we travelled by car it was great to be able to park our car free on the hotel carpark. We enjyed a beer in the hotel's open-air terrace. I recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheaper and nice place to stay.
